• Former Connecticut nonprofit director pleads guilty to stealing $775K from 2 organizations (fox61.com) — Residents should know that the former executive director of Durham Middlefield Youth & Family Services has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $775,000 from two Connecticut nonprofits. Federal prosecutors say he diverted funds while leading organizations in Windham and Middlefield, including DMYFS, and now faces up to 20 years in prison and over $775,000 in restitution, with sentencing set for December.
