UPDATE: Reward Offered to Help Solve Durham Bank Robbery

State Police are searching for a suspect and released photos.

Update 8:30 p.m.

On September 3, at 1:50 p.m. Troopers from Troop F-Westbrook responded to a reported bank robbery at the Liberty Bank, 357 Main St. in Durham.

Troopers, with the assistance of State Police K9 teams, searched the area for the suspect.

Troopers learned an undetermined amount of cash was taken, no weapons were displayed, and no injuries were reported. Troopers located surveillance footage, and spoke with witnesses.

The suspect was described as a white male, early to mid-30s, approximately 6’0”, thin, athletic-type build, with some facial hair.

The suspect was wearing a blue and white baseball style cap with a β€œCoors Lite” logo affixed to the front.

The suspect was also wearing a blue striped long sleeve style dress shirt, light colored cargo style shorts and athletic sneakers. The suspect fled the bank on foot, and left the area in a green older model sedan.

The Connecticut Bankers Reward Association is offering a reward of up $1,000 for information leading to the apprehension of those responsible.
