Second Public Hearing Scheduled for Durham's Proposed Public Safety Complex

Plans call for the renovation of three buildings to create the complex.

DURHAM, CT — The public will get another crack at discussing the proposed public safety complex that Durham is planning to create on Main Street.

The Meriden Record-Journal is reporting that a second public hearing is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Durham Public Library. Traffic impact to the area is among the concerns voiced during the first public hearing earlier this month.

Plans call for the renovation of three buildings to create a complex that would include the fire department, resident trooper's office, ambulance corps and other emergency personnel.
