Suspect Identified In Durham Car Burglaries: Police

The burglaries occurred on April 20.

DURHAM, CT — A suspect has been identified and interviewed by state police in connection with more than half a dozen car burglaries in Durham on April 20, according to Resident State Trooper First Class Larry Morello.

"The suspect was interviewed where he confessed to entering several vehicles on Pleasant Terrace in Durham," wrote Morello in a statement.

"The suspect also confessed to taking gift cards, coins, and using a stolen debit card that was taken from a vehicle. An arrest warrant will be submitted to Middletown Superior Court for the accused on numerous criminal charges."
