A Thank You to the Gildersleeve Wheeler Education Fund Grant Program

Over the past several years, the Portland Schools have been blessed by the generosity of the Gildersleeve Wheeler Education Fund Grant Program, which has provided financial support for many exciting, innovative educational projects throughout the district.  This newsletter is devoted as a big “Thank You” to the Gildersleeve Fund for their ongoing support of public education in Portland. 

 The Gildersleeve Fund was established in the 1800’s to school students in the Portland Schools.  The fund was “reborn” in 2004.
