East Hampton--Village Lions invites you to help us with our “Belltown Winter Wonderland” project.
The East Hampton Village Lions and Belltown Garden Club are partnering to create wonderful holiday crafts for the Village Lions’ annual Winter Wonderland Auction. The Clubs are inviting all Civic organizations to donate a decorated Christmas tree, wreath, or centerpiece, or other holiday-themed items for their silent auction.
Proceeds from this community-wide fund raiser will go to the East Hampton Food and Fuel Banks. The donated items will be displayed at the East Hampton Public Library from November 24 thru December 8, 2012.

The event culminates on Saturday, December 8th , when from 1 to 5 p.m. the Village Lions will host a Holiday Party at the Community Room, adjacent to the Library. At this time, individuals can make final bids on their favorite holiday decoration items while enjoying refreshments and music. The clubs will announce winning bidders at 4 p.m. and will contact winners to arrange for item pick-up.
President Linda Brogan adds: “Let’s light-up East Hampton for a common cause, to benefit those in need in our community during this time of giving. If we give something of ourselves, we’ll brighten the lives of others and we’ll feel good about ourselves too. What can be more in the spirit of the holiday season?”

Decorated themes may say something about your group i.e. it can be up to your own creativity- just be sure it’s holiday themed. The “Bells” theme is encouraged this year to lend support to our beloved Bevin Bell Company in light of the recent devastating fire.
If you would like to donate an item, please bring it to the Library on Saturday, November 24th for set-up. For more information contact Village Lions President Linda Brogan at 860-267-2012 … Christmas is coming!!
