PORTLAND – During their Portland office hours at the Portland Library Monday morning, State Representative Christie Carpino and State Sen.-Elect Art Linares met with several constituents and discussed topics ranging from veteran benefits, jobs to public safety and childhood obesity.
Rep. Carpino thanked everyone who took the time to stop by and share their opinions regarding jobs, the current economic climate, the state budget deficit, gun control, childhood obesity and how to combat and treat mental illness.
Both State Rep. Carpino and State Sen.-Elect Linares stated they would work in tandem for the people of Portland and make sure the town is represented well in Hartford.
