CBA Offers Free Disaster Insurance Claim Advice Through Emergency Hotline in Wake of Hurricane Sandy

The Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) has established a free emergency hotline service to provide insurance advice on a pro bono basis to Hurricane Sandy disaster victims.
The hotline is staffed by members of the CBA knowledgeable in insurance matters. Consumers can call 866-209-5099 or email Hotline@ctbar.org and a CBA staff member will then refer them to an attorney who will provide helpful legal advice. These inquiries can be made at any time and the CBA will attempt to have an attorney respond within 24 hours. The attorneys participating in the hotline have volunteered their time to help make navigating the claim process easier for consumers.
The CBA emergency hotline service was launched this past February and will continue to be activated to aid disaster victims in Connecticut.
