If you want to lend your voice to this cause, here’s how you can help:
- Join us at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford on Friday, March 22 at 11:30 A.M. in Room 2B. Testify before the Judiciary Committee in support of Ending the Early Prison Release Program. Submit 45 copies of written testimony to Committee staff, no later than two hours prior to the start of the hearing in Room 2500 of the LOB. Sign-up for the hearing will begin at 9:30 A.M. and conclude at 11:00 A.M. in Room 2500.
- For those who cannot attend the hearing in person, you can email your testimony to Judiciary Committee staffer George Marinelli at george.marinelli@cga.ct.gov . Be sure to put the word “Testimony” in the email’s subject line. Also be sure to mention that you are in favor of Senate Bill 123: AN ACT REPEALING THE RISK REDUCTION CREDIT PROGRAM. Please cc your email to me at Art.Linares@cga.ct.gov
Together, we can send a message to the state legislature that this dangerous program should be repealed.
Thank you!
