East Hampton and Portland Weekend Weather Forecast Features Cold, Rain, and Maybe Snowflakes

Well we’ve been enjoying spring-like temperatures for almost a week now. Not exactly.

But the second weekend of spring is fast-approaching, and we’ll let you know what the weather forecast will be like for your area.

We know spring youth sports and outdoor activities are slowly starting to ramp up.

It’s sort of funny that snowflakes are forecast to possibly fall on Friday night and Saturday, but no accumulation is expected.

That gives you a little insight that the temperatures will feel more like winter than spring this weekend. It will hit 50 degrees on Friday but of course there will be rain, on Saturday we’ll contend with snow and rain showers and a very cold day.

On Saturday temps won’t even hit 40 degrees. The pick of the litter concerning weekend weather is Sunday as it will be sunny and the temps will be in the low 40s.

But there is hope as we start the new work week. On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday temperatures are forecast to be in the 50s each day!

Friday, Showers likely, mainly before noon. Cloudy, with a high near 50. North wind 5 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Friday Night, A slight chance of rain showers before 3am, then a slight chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Calm wind becoming north around 6 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Saturday, A chance of snow showers before noon, then a chance of rain showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. North wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday Night, A slight chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 20. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Sunday, Sunny, with a high near 42.

Sunday Night, Partly cloudy, with a low around 31.
