East Hampton Police Blotter: May 26 - June 1

May 29
Sara Stratoti, 31, of 2 Aarons Way, East Hampton, was issued a ticket from Officer Brault for possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
May 27
Officers Pekar, Wilcox and Sergeant Battista responded to a report of a domestic dispute at 37 Old Middletown Avenue. As a result, Jamie Sarahina, 28, and Joh F. Rau, 26, of 37 Middletown Ave. were issued summons by Officer Pekar. Both Sarahina and Rau were charged with disorderly conduct.
May 26
Officers Wishart and Pekar responded to 9 West High St., West Side Manor, for reports of some type of assault between two residents. Officer Wishart issued a summons to Daniel A. Neligon, 36, for disorderly conduct.
May 25
Officer Pekar responded to a shoplifting complaint at the Rite-Aid located at 25 East High St. Brooke Tegge, Jr., 19, of 5 Niles St., East Hampton, was issued a summons for sixth-degree larceny.
Officer Gionfriddo arrested Kristen Karpuska, 26, of 4 Hyde Farm Terrace, East Hampton. Karpuska was charged with failure to drive right, traveling unreasonably fast and driving under the influence.
May 24
Officers Wilson and Gionfriddo responded to Barbara Avenue for independent complaints of a man yelling in a threatening manner. Officer Wilson placed Ralph Stone, Jr., 56, of 15 Barbara Ave. under arrest. Stone, Jr., was charged with disorderly conduct.
Tim Cavanaugh, 52, of 202 Hog Hill Road, East Hampton, was issued a ticket by Officer Wishart for simple trespass.
A 17-year-old juvenile of East Hampton was issued a juvenile summons for possession of cannabis, possession of paraphernalia, intent to sell and possession of a hallucinogenic.
May 23
Gail Distefano, 71, of 45 Forest St., East Hampton, was issued a summons by Officer Gionfriddo for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to comply with emissions testing requirements and failure to maintain minimum insurance requirements.
Robert Norris, 64, of 2141 Chapel St., New Haven, turned himself in pursuant to an active arrest warrant. Norris was charged with third-degree larceny.
May 22
Danielle M. Doyle, 27, of 11 Daniel St., East Hampton, was issued a ticket for failure to wear a seat belt.
Angel Spitznacher, 41, of 68 Skinner St., East Hampton, was issued a ticket for failure to wear a seat belt.
May 18
Stephen Rose, 42, of 392 Hampton Road, Chaplin, was issued a ticket by Officer Gionfriddo for operating with an illegal plate and possession of marijuana.
