UPDATE: East Hampton Woman Found Dead

Police have found the body of an East Hampton woman who had been reported missing since Thursday morning.

Jaclyn Fitzgerald, 24, was found in her home at 30 Namonee Trail around 1:30 p.m. Friday. Police believe foul play is involved.

East Hampton Police were at the scene Friday afternoon with the perimeter of Fitzgerald's home taped off. The Connecticut State Police Major Crimes Unit also was there.

According to The Hartford Courant, Sgt. Garritt Kelly said officers uncovered "suspicious circumstances" at the scene and said there is a likelihood of foul play.

Police are expected to provide more information as the investigation continues.
