The EHHS Building Committee will be sponsoring two public forums to give residents the opportunity to review the “renovate as new” high school project that will be up for referendum on Tuesday June 4. The first will be hosted during the day, Friday May 17 1:00 – 2:30 PM at the East Hampton Public Library Community Room. The second public forum will be hosted during the evening, Tuesday May 21, 7:15 – 8:30 PM at the East Hampton High School Auditorium. This second meeting will be following the Special Town Meeting being held at 7:00 PM in the East Hampton High School Library to set a public referendum date of Tuesday, June 4 to vote on the resolution to appropriate $51,695,000 for costs in connection with renovations, improvements and additions to East Hampton High School. At this public forum the project goals and conceptual design for the East Hampton High School renovation will be presented. The public will be able to ask questions and make comments. The building committee, architectural firm, construction management firm and project management firm will be hosting this event.
