The Association for Fire & Police Cadets, Inc. (AFPC) is sponsoring a comedy show on April 27, 2013 at the Quarry Ridge Country Club, 9 Rose Hill Rd in Portland, CT. The Show starts at 8:00pm and the doors will open at 6:30pm where there will be a dinner menu available for those who wish to purchase dinner prior to the show. This show will feature three comics with the headliner scheduled being RC Smith, his credits include being the warm up comic for television shows The CHEW, Rachel Ray, and Who wants to be a Millionaire, just to name a few. Tickets are $25.00per person at the door or you can purchase tickets in advance for $20.00 per person or $130.00 for a reserved table of eight. The AFPC is a non-profit organization that has recently formed in Connecticut. The primary objective of this organization is to conduct leadership training and other events for programs that promote leadership amongst youth. Such programs include but are not limited to; Police, Fire and EMS Cadet programs, the Lion’s Leo Program, and the Rotary INTERACT program.
