Money Smart Week® is April 21-27. Portland Library will collaborate with the local branch of TD Bank to provide financial literacy programming.
Money Smart week was originally developed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in 2002. Through the collaboration of hundreds of organizations across the country including businesses, financial institutions, schools, libraries, not-for-profits, government agencies and the media, consumers are offered free programs informing them about the importance of financial literacy and about where they can get help in
managing their finances.
At Portland Library, a representative from TD Bank will offer two programs to provide information that will help you manage your personal finances
including identity theft, credit, and computer phishing.
April 22 at 6:30 pm
April 25 at 1:00 pm.
Call for more information or visit the library’s online calendar of events to register for the programs.
