East Hampton High School will hold an orientation on Thursday, Aug. 18, at 7 p.m. for parents of students who will be ninth graders in the fall. This evening is an opportunity for parents/guardians and students to learn about the high school and meet teachers, school counselors and administrators.
The evening will consist of presentations by the five academic chairs who will talk about the ninth grade year and courses that incoming students select.
The first day of school is Tuesday, Aug. 30.
