Portland Historical Society Program ~ History of Trinity Episcopal Church

Trinity Episcopal Church is celebrating the 225th anniversary of the founding of their parish. In cooperation with the Portland Historical Society, a special program covering the parish's history, its Gothic Revival Church built of Portland brownstone from 1872 to 1882, and its glorious stained glass windows will be presented by Rector Steven Ling and parishioner Carol Hill. This special historical program will be at Trinity starting at 7p.m. and will be followed by the presentation of the William VanBeynum Award and an ice cream social.
If you have often admired Trinity as you drove or walked past it, please join us and discover the history behind many of its architectural details.
