Portland's Festival of Wreaths

Don your favorite holiday sweater and join us with your family for warm cider and homemade goodies!

The Portland Historical Society’s 3rd annual Festival of Wreaths — “Jingle & Mingle” — is Saturday and Sunday, December 6 and 7 from noon to 4 p.m. Located in the carriage barn behind 329 Main Street, Portland, the festival will feature decorated wreaths donated by local businesses, organizations, families and individuals. Wreaths will range from small to large, fresh greens to artificial, traditional holiday to cleverly gift-worthy!

With over twenty wreaths donated each year, winning a wreath is a bargain at just $1.00 per ticket for this teacup-style raffle. On Sunday at 3:30 pm the A Cappella Singers from Portland High School, under the direction of Samuel Tucker, will entertain with traditional carols. Winners’ names will be drawn at 4 p.m. Sunday, just before Portland’s Parade of Lights.

All proceeds from this event will be used to restore the Ruth Callander House Museum of Portland History and to fund educational projects for the community.
