Durham artist and art teacher Terry Oakes Bourret is the featured artist through the end of June at the Simply Pearls Gallery, located in the Water's Edge Resort Shops, 1587 Boston Post Road in Westbrook. She is exhibiting almost thirty paintings, including landscapes, seascapes, still lifes, florals, and scenes of Durham Middlefield and Middletown. The gallery is hosting a catered reception to celebrate the exhibit on Thursday, June 6, from 6-8pm. Admission is free and open to the public. Simply Pearls is open daily at 10 AM.
