
Come on out for Portland’s “Come on Over” Road Race on Friday, Aug. 12 at 6:30 p.m. The race will start and finish at the Portland Town Hall at 33 E. Main St.
The run will feature T-shirts to the first 100 applicants and there will be an awards ceremony following the race. The race is being run by the Portland Parks & Recreation Department and will benefit the department’s recreation programs and summer camp scholarships.
Pre-registration for the 5K race is $15 prior to Aug. 5, after which it will be $20 ($10 for Portland residents age 19 and younger through the day of the race).

Entry forms can be picked up at the Portland Parks & Recreation Department or online at www.portlandct.org. Race-day registration will be at the Portland Town Hall starting at 5 p.m.
