Shoreline All-Conference Teams Announced
Coleman selected MVP for second straight year; Booth on first team
The 2010-2011 Shoreline All-Conference teams were announced Tuesday night between tournament semifinal games at Coginchaug High School in Durham.
East Hampton and Portland were well represented with one MVP, two first-team selections, two second-team choices and two honorable mentions. Coginchaug had two first-team selections.
For the second straight year, Portland's Kelly Coleman earned the honor of being named Shoreline Conference MVP. Coleman led the Lady Highlanders to a 16-1 conference record.

Kelsey Booth of East Hampton and Coleman were selected to the first team, as were Coginchaug's Audrey Biesak and Sam Mancinelli. Emily Anderson (Haddam-Killingworth), Kayla McAvoy (Old Saybrook) and Alex Marchinkoski (Cromwell) rounded out the first team.
Portland's Lindsey Dionne, East Hampton's Sarah Denihan and Hale-Ray's Morgan Humble were named to the second team and Portland's Sarah Bierly, Haddam-Killingworth's Lauren Muise and Hale-Ray's Melissa Martin received honorable mention.
