The Bass Are Biting
Largemouth bass action is good in some state lakes, but zebra mussels appear to be spreading.
With the recent discoveries of zebra mussels, an invasive species in Connecticut, in Lake Zoar in Derby and Lake Lillinonah in Newtown, the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is again warning fishermen to use extra care when taking their boats in and out of Connecticut waterways to avoid accidentally transporting the mussels to other areas.
