Town To Vote On New Police Station, Town Hall For East Hampton
Residents will vote on the construction of a new East Hampton town hall/police station this fall.

EAST HAMPTON, CT — Residents will vote on the construction of a new town hall/police station in November, the Middletown Press reported. The project has been the subject of much debate and discussion for a number of years.
The Town Council voted Tuesday to send an $18.98 million proposal for a unified town facilities building to a town meeting on October 30, according to the Middletown Press. The proposal will then be put to a vote in the municipal election ballot on November 7.
