Updated Storm Info, Snow Totals for East Hampton, Portland

OK, I admit it — I really wanted to title this article “You Gotta Get the Bread and Milk.” But I settled for the above paragraph. No matter how many times it snows, this video doesn’t get old!

Keep scrolling for the forecast. The biggest change since the previous National Weather Service forecast is the addition of sleet and a winter storm watch issued for the area.

The Latest NWS Forecast:

• Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 17. Calm wind.

• Friday: Sunny, with a high near 36. Wind chill values between 20 and 30. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 9 mph in the morning.

• Friday Night: A chance of snow, mainly after 3 a.m. Increasing clouds, with a low around 21. Southwest wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

• Saturday: Snow before 11 a.m., then freezing rain and sleet, possibly mixed with snow. High near 32. Wind chill values between 25 and 30. Light north wind increasing to 8 to 13 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New ice accumulation of around a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow and sleet accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.

• Saturday Night: Snow likely, mainly before 9 p.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 25. West wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

• Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 34.

• Sunday Night: A chance of snow after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

• Monday: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 27. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
