East Hampton voters, I ask for your support of the High School Renovation Referendum this coming Tuesday June 4th. This is one of the most important votes in years, and it deserves your approval. I am a 1986 graduate of East Hampton High School and the current building is practically in the same condition as when I left there. This project will provide a state-of-the-art place of learning for the future students of East Hampton, as well as a revitalized community facility for all. Seven new science and technology classrooms, improved infrastructure, added site security, high-efficiency heating and cooling systems, and an improved design for expanded community use. No question the project is expensive, but with 52.5% state reimbursement, there has never been a better time to complete this project. This community deserves a renovated East Hampton High School, please vote in favor of this project this Tuesday June 4th and support the future of East Hampton. Vote “Yes”!
