Lotus Lantern Craft Workshop Presented by The Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project

Join the Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project (KSCPP) for a hands-on workshop where participants will create a beautiful lotus flower lantern using colored paper and a pre-made wireframe. Along the way, they’ll also discover Korea’s rich history and unique cultural heritage. The program concludes with a short documentary film that offers a deeper look into modern Korea.
The Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project (KSCPP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of Korean history
and culture.
In appreciation for the United State’s support for Korea during the Korean War and in the years that followed, KSCPP has held over 2,800 presentations about the history and culture of Korea throughout the country. Internationally, they have hosted more than 14,000 events.
This program is free and open to everyone. Registration is required. To register, please call the library at: 203-468-3890 or send an email to Cynthia, Community Services Librarian at: cgwiazda@hagamanlibrary.org.
