In honor of America250, our Reference and Local History Librarian, Chris Hemingway, will don historically accurate garb and perform a recitation of the Declaration. No RSVP needed to let freedom ring!The United States Declaration of Independence, adopted by the Second Continental Congress on&nbsp;July 4, 1776,&nbsp;is the foundational document severing the Thirteen Colonies' political ties with Great Britain. Drafted primarily by Thomas Jefferson, it asserts universal human rights and justifies the American Revolution. The Declaration of Independence resonates to this day with universal truths, including that all are created equal.&nbsp;

Learn about gardening, pollinators, and more during our Grow Your Garden program this summer at the Hagaman Library!
July 7th - Learn Gardening Basics and set up a planter in the library to track plant growth for the rest of the month!
July 14th - Create a mini-terrarium in a mason jar!
July 21st - Library Beautification Day! Help us improve and expand our library’s garden!
July 28th - Craft items that help support our local pollinators!
