East Haven 911 Shooting Call Released
Police have released audio from the 911 call about Thursday's shooting in East Haven.

EAST HAVEN, CT — Police released audio from the 911 call about an East Haven teen getting shot during a reported robbery.
The caller said his grandson's friend was, "bleeding pretty bad" and that he had been shot in the middle of his chest. The victim was conscious and said he was riding his bicycle when he was shot during an attempted robbery.
Police and firefighters were dispatched to French Avenue around 12:18 p.m. Thursday on a report of a juvenile who had been shot, said Mayor Joseph Maturo.

The victim told police he was shot in the alleyway that connects Thompson Avenue and Grove J Tuttle Elementary School and that he then traveled to a French Avenue residence. He was then taken by ambulance to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
He told police a silver Honda was involved in the incident.
