Final Weekend for CT’s “The Haunted Trolley” Halloween Event

Promoters make it very clear that this is not an indoor or outdoor haunted attraction, nor is it a hayride, it is not a trail in the woods.

Final Weekend for CT’s “The Haunted Trolley” Halloween Event

East Haven, CT: Billed as “a very special curated Halloween experience,” The HAUNTED TROLLEY is Connecticut’s newest event especially for Halloween, and its world premiere weekend was a smash success with sold-out rides over its first three nights. The unique presentation invades the Shore Line Trolley Museum in East Haven, CT one more weekend only, this Friday, October 28th, Saturday, October 29th; and Sunday, October 30th.

The HAUNTED TROLLEY, presented in partnership with the Shore Line Trolley Museum, is a very special curated Halloween event unlike anything visitors have ever encountered before. Guests will take an unforgettable ride aboard an ancient trolley with hosts who will turn their evening into an other-worldly journey into the unknown. The interactive, exclusive paranormal and supernatural event is limited to only 40 passengers per hour/per adventure. Timed admissions on Friday and Saturday take place at 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, and 10pm; and on Sunday 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm (note that 5pm & 6pm are designated as mostly family/kid friendly but may be too intense for very young children). The ride itself lasts over 30 minutes.

The organizers are presenting a multi-faceted, never-before-seen interactive production which incorporates ghost-story telling, an actual occult séance-like scrying session, and other surprises, including theatrics. One aspect of the experience will be a paranormal investigation of the true 1917 tragic trolley crash which killed 19 persons because of an allegedly “sleepy motorman.” Exactly 105 years after this historic tragedy, the unsolved mystery of this supposed accident will be just one of the elements of this haunted adventure.
