• East Haven Police Officer On Routine Patrol Interrupts A Drug Deal, New Haven Man Charged (patch.com) — East Haven police say a routine patrol on Frontage Road led to the arrest of a New Haven man after an officer interrupted a suspected drug deal in a parking lot. A K-9 search reportedly turned up numerous bags of suspected crack cocaine and fentanyl, along with cash, and the driver now faces multiple narcotics and interference charges with a court date set for Sept. 9.
