Lying with a Vengeance!
Anti-airport protesters spew meaningless smoke whilst showering themselves with glorious accolades. It's time to put out the fire!

For the Record
The Social Media Group, EH Politics, has tirelessly misinformed the local community on countless aeronautical matters. This groups’ technique when it comes to misinforming the community on aeronautical matters includes prolific use of empty unverified statements, incoherent linking of multiple subject matters together, unrelenting repetition and intense use of cliche. Could I be the only one to see all of this? Take this latest “gem” of an unchallenged statement from EH Politics as example:

The Airport brought us together!
Like many, I have come to know of this group and its Leader as a result of their errant, malicious, misinformed and incoherent public espousals like the one above. These kinds of statements are then masked as "civic involvement". The victim? The traveling public and the genuinely concerned citizen. The latest installment of EHPolitics rudderless rhetoric and plot to misinform pertains to Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting at Tweed-New Haven Airport…and you guessed it, the Boeing 737-800.
Exhibit 1
Here is the Crash, Fire and Rescue Regulation for Part 139 Air Carrier Airports (that’s Tweed):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQQPKPGk6io In this linked video, you need only watch the first 1 minute, 30 seconds in order to hear an explanation of what this article describes. Otherwise, read the regulation and see the table ⬇️

In the above regulation, what’s important to know is that the 737-700 requires “Index” B Crash, Fire Rescue🔥 Protection because it’s fuselage length (or body) is < than 126 feet.
The 737-700 is an Index B Airplane and Tweed meets Index B. Sounds like a perfect match to me! But let’s not stop 🛑 there!
On another matter, the 737-800 is an “Index” C Airplane because its fuselage length (or body) is >126 feet. BUT ONLY AT 5 OR MORE AVERAGE DAILY DEPARTURES. IF ITS AVERAGE DAILY DEPARTURES IS 5 OR LESS AVERAGE DEPARTURES, THEN THE 737-800 is considered an “Index” B Airplane.

Tweed-New Haven Airport is currently an Index C Airport.
⚠️ HVN will “drop” to Index B because of a change in the number of 737-800 departures. ⚠️
⚠️Tweed Airport will continue to have 737-800 operations. Sorry EH Poloitics.⚠️
So why then the ticker tape parade and boastful claims of victory by EH Politics 😱💐💐💐? There is no reason, except to say EH Politics writes their own material. See Exhibit 2.
Exhibit 2.
Here is the link for the Tweed-New Haven Airport monthly Regular monthly meeting. In it, you will find the Airport Manager describe that because Avelo is changing its allocation of 737-800 aircraft in its system, and therefore to Tweed-New Haven Airport, HVN will be below the 5 average daily departure threshold for Index C. It so follows, that Tweed will not need to STAFF TO INDEX C.
For Heaven’s sake, AVELO is moving its airplanes around its system and deploying them in different ways. Because? Drum roll…🥁 That’s what airlines do! They change their schedules and move pieces to their ever-changing puzzle that is an airline.
Stop the Parade!
No, this was no victory EH Politics…you will not be adorned with the Nobel Peace Prize. Not this year. Keep tr(ly)ing though, maybe next year.
HVN has the second Rescue apparatus as required by Index C available for when Avelo goes above the 5 average daily departure threshold. Tweed is simply not staffing the second truck because there is no reason to do so. That’s all!
🔥THIS ISSUE IS NOT A QUESTION OR ISSUE OF HVN NOT HAVING INDEX C. THEY DO.✈️
🔥THIS IS NOT A QUESTION OR ISSUE OF HVN AND the 737-800 NOT BEING A “MATCH”.✈️
🔥THIS IS SIMPLY A MATTER OF AVELO MOVING ITS AIRPLANES (737-800s in this case) AROUND ITS NETWORK.✈️
🔥HAVING LESS THAN 5 AVERAGE DAILY DEPARTURES OF 737-800s ALLOWS TWEED TO BE INDEX B.✈️
🔥 WHEN THE HVN FLIGHT SCHEDULE CHANGES TO MORE THAN 5 AVERAGE DAILY DEPARTURES, HVN WILL GO BACK TO INDEX C.✈️
But don’t take just my word. After all, I don’t live in East Haven. Here is the audio and video of exactly what the Airport Manager had to say about this issue. Go to the 21:00 minute mark and listen for yourself:

In closing.
As we draw to a close, might I remind you of what EH Politics claims, wrongly so, as seen in the illustration at the top of this article.🔝 This boastful, arrogant, incoherent and incorrect assertion is yet another pack of vengeful lies spewed by EH Politics. Such is just the latest of their in-flight movies. This one is called, “It is Me, Me and Me who saved you”.
I give this movie 🍿 a 👎 thumbs down.

EH Politics’ understanding of aviation matters is grossly non-existent. Unfortunately, this complete lack of aviation knowledge has not stopped EH Politics from wielding and rabbling its authoritarian saber. Herein lies the danger imposed to public discourse. There is no more tyrannical, self-assured, glory-hound imposter disguised as a "citizen defender" than the Leader of the Social Media group called “EH Politics”. Seeing that EH Politics doesn’t promote healthy debate…by their hoisting of blockades…I thought I’d draw it out myself by yet again calling them to task on this latest misinformation.
