East Haven and Orange Police Believe Bank Robberies Connected: UPDATE
BREAKING: Police say the man attempted to rob the bank Monday morning. Police are searching for the suspect.

UPDATE: The East Haven Police Department is working with the Orange Police Department regarding the attempted bank robbery/ bank robbery that took place in their respective towns, police said. It is believed that the two incidents are connected, police said. A bank in Orange was also robbed on Monday. See that story here.
EAST HAVEN, CT — The East Haven Police Department is investigating an attempted robbery at Key Bank at 245 Main Street Monday morning, police said. Police said they are looking for a male in his 40’s in connection with the attempted bank robbery.
The suspect entered the bank at approximately 9 a.m. and asked for “all the money,” police said. No threats were made and no weapons were displayed or implied, police said.

No money was taken and no one was injured, police said. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said. A K-9 track of the suspect was unsuccessful, police said.
The male is described as a tall black male, unshaven, in his 40’s wearing a dark green baseball cap, black sunglasses with red on the sides, a blue t-shirt with the words “No Delay in My Game” in white lettering, police said.
