• 21-Year-Old Double Shooting Victim Dies (newhavenindependent.org) — An East Haven resident was injured in a New Haven double shooting that has now claimed the life of 21-year-old Garnet Beckford. Police say the incident in the West River neighborhood was likely not random and are still investigating connections between those involved. Anyone with information is urged to contact New Haven detectives or the anonymous tip line.
