East Haven Administration & Representative Joe Zullo,

You were offered more than you deserve in the aforementioned recent pact re: Tweed-New Haven Airport. Your "burdens" are self-created and self-inflicted. You built up around Tweed New Haven Airport. You allowed the issues to come about and yet you play the victim. Some might say,"well played".

Representative Zullo, you are playing East Haven's broken record. We all hear you. We have all been hearing you and this broken record for decades. You and your anti-Tweed constituents have been reciting these played and pretend talking-points for decades. You are trumpeting cliche rhetoric. How many experts and lawsuits can you muster against Tweed? Where are they? How much did they cost?

No voice? Your voice is heard by the Federal Aviation Administration, the Connecticut State DEEP, the United States Army Corp of Engineers, the United States Court of Appeals. Tweed-New Haven Airport and AvPorts hear your voices.

These are the entities ensuring Tweed is right-sized and fine tuned...not expanded. All for your benefit. Trouble is, you expect your voice to be the only one heard on the HVN matter. It isn't the only one. There are many voices. I am one of millions of voices.

I admire your resolve. It is also something many others possess. Myself included.

Over time, point by point, quantitatively, your sensational, basesless, fear mongering will be detailed. By me.

Tweed-New Haven Airport and it's operations aren't the domain of a ballot box. Stop trying to find a new cause to validate yourself. You have no say in how I keep my crew, my passengers, my aircraft and your residents safe. That's the domain of the Federal Aviation Administration. Your rhetoric is an insult to aviation professionals nationwide, air travelers and the Federal Regulatory frame work that makes Tweed-New Haven Airport possible. Your rhetoric is obstructive to safety. I oppose your rhetoric and vehemently support Aviation Safety.

Your town, and many others like it, have problems far greater than the local airport. Maybe you should devote your ferver to causes you were elected to correct? Just a thought.

The airport has been flying high ever since its commencement in 1931. You and your town never had the capacity to understand nor partake in that success. You still do not. If I were Captain of your flight, I would leave you at the gate...in a manner of speaking of course. Tweed should leave you behind.

Tweed-New Haven Airport will keep flying. You and your constituents have chosen poorly all along Tweed's journey.

Your choice to turn a blind eye to the airport...to ignore what's been in your backyard for decades...since September of 1931 in fact... has been a black-eye and an embarrassment to the region. You chose poorly. You built and advised poorly. You swept the potential and purpose of HVN under the doormat of East Haven Town Hall to make a quick gain. You still do.

East Haven, you encroached on Tweed New Haven Airport. You bull-dozed, you cut trees and you paved wetlands. Funny when the pot calls the kettle black, isnt it?

Poor land-use planning is entirely your doing. Thus, you are responsible. East Haven should relocate itself.
