Elderly Ellington Woman Dies After Being Struck By Car

Janet E. Peck, 87, died one day before her 88th birthday after being hit by a car while trying to get her mail.

The Elderly Ellington woman that was struck by a car while getting her mail Tuesday night has died, according to WFSB.

The woman, Janet E. Peck, was 87 years old and died one day before her 88th birthday.

The driver of the car, a Ford Focus, was identified as 84-year-old Thaddeus J. Okolo, according to WFSB.
