• Former Ellington First Selectman Returns To Town Board (patch.com) — Ellington residents have a new face back on the Board of Selectmen, as former First Selectman Lori Spielman has been appointed to fill a vacancy through December 2027. Her return follows a chain of moves that shifted David Stavens from the selectmen to the Board of Education, replacing a resigned member and keeping party balance under the town charter.
