Police Make Arrest in Somers School Threat
Police have made an arrest after some noticed a possible threat on social media about a school shooting.

State Police have arrested a juvenile after he allegedly made a vague false threat on social media that there would be a shooting at a Somers-area school.
The threat was first seen on March 12 on the social media app Yik Yak, according to police.
State Police and the F.B.I. along with assistance from Yik Yak and other agencies investigated and found there was no credible threat.

A juvenile was arrested and charged with first-degree falsely reporting an incident and breach of peace. The juvenile admitted that there was never any original threat that occurred to shoot at any schools, police said.
