Magic Carpet Enfield Transit Bus Service Begins Monday January 14 RIDERS RIDE FREE FOR THE FIRST TWO WEEKS

Magic Carpet Enfield Transit Fixed Route Bus Service will begin operating on Monday, January 14 at 7:00 a.m. For the first two weeks of operation the service will be FREE for all riders.
This fixed route bus service will operate from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:00 a.m.
until 9:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The bus service fixed route includes stops at the Enfield Square, Elm Plaza, Enfield Town Hall, Enfield Senior Center, Community Health Resources, Asnuntuck Community College and Brookside Plaza, as well as Pearl and High Streets and North Maple and Hazard Avenue. Tickets are available or purchase at the Enfield Transit Office located at the Enfield Senior
Center, 299 Elm Street and Village Center of Thompsonville, 100 High Street. Beginning in February, tickets will be available in several area grocery stores. Ticket types range from single rides to 31 day passes and pricing includes day, senior, youth and disabled rates.
Thanks to a partnership with Asnuntuck Community College, all Asnuntuck students ride for free when they
show their student ID.
