Asnutuck's Changing Lives Program Focuses on Manufacturing Month

Asnuntuck Community College’s Interim Dean of Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center, Mary Bidwell, hosts this month’s episode of “Changing Lives.” Her guest was ACC second semester Machine Technology student Estelle Ramage, who will be going to Washington, D.C. to receive a National Science Foundation Award. She is interning at Aero Gear in Windsor.


Also appearing on the show were Asnuntuck graduate and Educational Assistant Mairead Carney. She works with Asnuntuck’s College Connections students. The college currently buses 100 high school students, from seven area high schools, to the campus to earn dual credit. Fellow graduate Jeremy Hernandez, was also a guest on then show. He is also an Educational Assistant and he works with College Connections students in the Electro-Mechanical department of the college.
