Enfield Coronavirus Update: 9 More Cases Confirmed

ENFIELD, CT — The start of the first full week of April saw the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut approach 7,000 Monday, while the total in Enfield jumped to 50. Statewide, the number of deaths related to the virus is up to 206, with 1,221 hospitalizations. Just under 27,000 people have undergone testing for the virus thus far, according to state health officials.

Fairfield County continues to compile the highest number of confirmed cases with 3,719, or 53.9 percent of the state's total. Enfield is located in Hartford County, which has confirmed 882 cases with 31 deaths.
