Enfield Finance Director Resigns
Lynn Nenni is the third high-level official to announce their departure in the past five weeks.
Another town official has decided to take advantage of an opportunity elsewhere - the third Enfield administrator to do so in the last five weeks.
Lynn Nenni, director of finance since late 2007, submitted her resignation letter via email to Town Manager Matt Coppler, Assistant Town Manager Derrik Kennedy and Director of Human Resources Steve Bielenda Monday.
Coppler and Kennedy will also be departing Enfield by the end of September.

“Thank-you for the opportunity to serve as Finance Director for the Town of Enfield,” she wrote in her email. “ I have appreciated the experience of working with you, the Town Council and the residents of the Town of Enfield. I think the most important skill I walk away with from everyone here is the value of compromise and negotiation. (And keeping my mouth shut when appropriate).”
In her letter, Nenni said she has “decided to make a career change,” and has accepted the chief financial officer duties at the LEARN Regional Education Service Center in Old Lyme.
