Enfield Man Charged With Sexual Assault of a Minor

ENFIELD, CT — A local man was arrested Thursday on sexual assault charges in a case involving an underage victim, according to police.

Jason Quiles, 39, was charged with first-degree sexual assault of a victim under age 13, fourth-degree sexual assault of a victim under age 13, illegal sexual contact with a victim under age 16 and risk of injury to a child. He was held overnight in lieu of a $150,000 surety bond, and was slated to be arraigned Friday in Enfield Superior Court, Deputy Chief Fred Hall said.

The warrant supporting Quiles' arrest is sealed, and no further information could be released, Hall said.
