ENFIELD, CT - A local woman whose 10-week-old baby was severely injured by her then-boyfriend pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of risk of injury to a child.

Michael Jiles, Jr., 39, Rousseau's former boyfriend, pleaded guilty to risk of injury to a child on May 26, nearly 16 months after he injured the baby in Feb. 2015. He will be sentenced to five years in prison and five years of special parole.
The baby suffered broken ribs, a broken arm, a broken left thigh and a wound that caused blood clotting around the brain, according to an affidavit supporting Jiles' arrest.
