
Robert B. Brewczynski, 61, of Mansfield, and loving husband of 30 years to Marti (Boucher) Brewczynski passed away after a fierce battle with heart and kidney disease on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Hartford Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Robert was born May 30, 1955, in Hartford. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War where he was stationed in Barbers Point Hawaii. Robert and Marti were united in Holy Matrimony in August of 1985 and together lived in Enfield and later moved to Mansfield where they made their home. He was employed with Barnes Aerospace and prior to Barnes he was employed at Pratt & Whitney for over 25 years. Robert enjoyed boating and ice fishing, but cherished the many vacations he and Marti took together.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by a daughter, Amy Griego and her husband, Daniel of Los Angeles, CA; a loving grandson, Zachary Griego; a brother, James Brewczynski and his wife, Moira of Hamden; three sisters, Franceann Paulman of Hamden, Alice Brewczynski of Enfield and Jacqueline Auclair Tomlinson and her husband, Jason of Gig Harbor, WA; his nieces and nephews, Samuel Jacobs and Rebecca Jacobs, Isaac Paulman and his wife, Vanessa, Tori Paulman and her wife, Sunnie Kaufmann-Paulman, Samuel Brewczynski and Anastasia Brewczynski; a great niece and a great nephew, Rowan Paulman and Anika Kaufman-Paulman. Robert was predeceased by his father Robert Brewczynski; his mother, Alice (Auclair) Parent and his step-father, Gerard Parent.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, during visiting hours from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. A funeral service for Robert will be celebrated on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the State's Veteran's Cemetery on Bow Lane in Middletown.
