Enfield Obituary: Robert Graushinsky, 58

Condolences to his family and friends.

Robert J Graushinsky, 58, of Enfield, formerly of South Windsor died peacefully on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Robert was born on May 30, 1959 in Hartford, the son of Mildred (Warbec) Graushinksy and the Edward Graushinsky. He grew up in South Windsor and attended South Windsor schools. Robert was a part of several group homes throughout his adult life. He enjoyed delivering the morning mail and listening to polka music. He loved his family and friends and always made a point to bring his mother flowers.

His family would like to thank Allied Rehabilitation Centers and Masonicare Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.

Along with his mother, Mildred of South Windsor he leaves his brother, Stephen Graushinksy and his wife Jacqueline of Broad Brook, and his sister, Linda Longo of Manchester.

His family will receive friends on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 2-4 p.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home. Family and friends may gather on Friday, January 19, 2018, 9 a.m., at the funeral home; followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at St. Margaret Mary Church in South Windsor. Burial will follow at St. Catherine Cemetery in Broad Brook.
