Enfield Police Continue Ongoing Narcotics Sweep With Six Arrests

More suspects are expected to be taken into custody in the next day or two, the police chief said.

A continued push to rid Enfield’s streets of heroin and other narcotics dealers resulted in the arrests of six people Thursday.

“This is the culmination of a long undercover operation that primarily focused on heroin dealers,” Police Chief Carl Sferrazza said.

Teams of officers began taking suspects into custody Thursday morning, Sferrazza said.

About 10 suspects had been arrested prior to today’s sweep, with some already incarcerated, Sferrazza said. The chief said he expects several more arrests over the next day or two.

  • Anthony Vincenzo, 21, and Shauna Lateano, 19, both of 3 Broad Leaf Cir., West Suffield, each charged with sale of certain illegal drugs and conspiracy to commit sale of certain illegal drugs
  • Dylan Branch, 23, of 83 Prospect St., Enfield, charged with sale of certain illegal drugs and sale of a controlled substance
  • Terrence Jones, 25, of no certain address, charged with sale of a hallucinogen/narcotics
  • Kenneth Griggs, 22, of 24 Spring St., Windsor, charged with sale of certain illegal drugs, obtaining a controlled drug via forged prescription and second-degree forgery
  • Sally Taylor, 46, of no certain address, charged with conspiracy to obtain a controlled drug via forged prescription and second-degree forgery
