ENFIELD, CT - An unknown man robbed a Route 5 gas station Monday morning and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, Police Chief Carl Sferrazza said.
The man walked into the Sunoco station at 600 Enfield Street around 7:55 a.m., and "made a hand gesture" implying that he had a gun, Sferrazza said.
The bandit took cash and ran from the store. A police K9 unit was only able to track his scent to a spot where his car was, Sferrazza said.
