Enfield Public Schools Honors Student for Heroism

From Mrs. Jennifer Miller, Prudence Crandall Principal:

Prudence Crandall Elementary School honored one of our students at an assembly on March 31, 2016. Logan Pelkey received an award for heroism. This award was presented by Officer Hoover and Officer Becky. The award was given because Logan recently called 911 when he noticed an unconscious family member. He used quick thinking and remained calm in the situation. Officer Hoover remarked that Logan acted bravely when he used his knowledge of what to do in emergency situations. His family, the school, and the police department are all very proud of him.
