Enfield, Vernon Cops Charge Man With 102 Protective Order Crimes

A man is in custody on more than $1 million in bonds for a plethora of protective order violations in Enfield and Vernon, police said.

ENFIELD, CT — A 38-year-old man remained in custody Monday on a $50,000 bond after being charged with a protective order violation in Enfield, judicial records indicate. The local charge against Craig Lee Bosley came on the heels of warrants out of Vernon with 101 protective order violation charges.

He is accused of skipping court dates for the cases and rearrest warrants were issued, police said.

The bonds for Bosley out of Vernon total $1.45 million. Bosley, whose listed address is in Ellington, was arrested in Massachusetts on July 22 on bonds initially totaling $6.005 million. He was sent to both Enfield Superior Court and Rockville Superior Court the same day for arraignment.

He is also facing a pair of second-degree harassment charges and a first-degree stalking charge out of Vernon, according to an arrest report.

In addition, in Vernon, he also is facing stalking and harassment charges from a Feb. 2 arrest, three risk of injury to a child charges with a protective order violation from a Jan. 21 arrest and more than 30 counts of violating a restraining order from a Sept. 24 arrest, judicial system records show.

Bosley is due back before judges in Enfield on Aug. 12 and in Vernon on Aug, 30, records show.
