A hands-on six-month educational experience is available at Asnuntuck Community College for students who are interested in the Esthetician field. Day classes begin on March 9th (an evening program will be available Fall, 2020) and the curriculum meets all of the requirements needed for students to apply for a Massachusetts and Connecticut Esthetics license. The license requirement is new for Connecticut, and will be required as of July, 2020.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics’ employment outlook for this field is promising, with a projected growth of 11% by 2028.

The college is a Dermalogica and PCA Skin partnership school. Students will also benefit from the college’s participation in the M·A·C Pro student program. As part of the program students will perform services on students and the general public as part of the college’s supervised spa clinic.
